FAR EAST – The Indo-Jazz Big Band Suite is a declaration of love in three movements. Through this musical travel diary I want to tell the tale of my encounters with special people, extended concert tours across the Indian subcontinent and most importantly my love of Indian music and jazz. It’s a very uncomplicated love triangle, which has been established for life and beyond through month-long studio sessions with the legendary Indian Dhrupad singers - the Gundecha Brothers.
