I just spent two weeks in London to launch a new project called HINTERLAND with the percussionist Bernhard Schimpelsberger. (www.bernhard.co.at) We were jamming, composing, experimentating, searching for new sounds and of course also recording.

In a brand-new collaboration percussionist Bernhard Schimpelsberger meets Georg Gratzer on woodwinds.
Together they create landscapes of sound drawing from a unique palette of colors and textures.
Embracing a new world of sound they explore sonic influences from Indian classical music,chinese folk or their Western classical roots such as Bach and Mozart.
